Do you have breakout spaces available?
We do! The entire Conference Centre is made up of 3 Halls, with the first hall (ABC) dividing into 3 smaller spaces that can be used as breakout spaces. The walls between all rooms can be opened and closed with relative ease. If your event is larger and requires more rooms, we also have access to many classrooms located on-campus just across the parking lot.
Yes! We have an in-house caterer who can cover events in all spaces including the Conference Centre and Academic spaces. In addition to the standard menus that our catering team offers we are happy to work with our catering team to create a menu that you will be happy with for any event.
Yes, you are welcome to use an outside caterer for your event at the Conference Centre only. The external caterer would have to provide all equipment and will not have access to an oven onsite. There is an associated fee with this, which our coordinators can give you more information on.
Yes, you are welcome to bring in your own catering at the Conference Centre only. You would be responsible for providing everything necessary for serving your attendees (I.e. plates, cutlery, napkins) and will not have access to kitchen facilities. There is an associated fee with this, which our coordinators can give you more information on.
When does your patio open, and can I rent your patio only?
Depending on weather, our patio is typically open from the end of May until October. The patio must be rented along with at least 1 Hall rental in the Conference Centre, which will also give you peace of mind in having a back-up location in the event of bad weather.
Yes! Our venue is fully accessible as per AODA standards. We also have accessible parking spaces in our dedicated Conference Centre parking lot.
Do non-profit organizations receive a discount?
Yes, we do provide a 20% discount on the room rental for non-profit organizations with proof of charitable number or non for profit registration number.
Is there a contact person on-site to ensure my event runs smoothly?
When you book an event at our Conference Centre we ensure there is a coordinator on site to support you and your event.
Does Sheridan Conference Centre offer Alumni Discounts?
Yes. Sheridan Alumni get a 20% off room rate introductory offer for first time rental and 15% off the room rate after that when booking with us.
