Sheridan College Conference Services offers spaces to rent at all three of our campuses.

Yes! Our spaces are fully open to the public to rent.

We have a variety of spaces including, but not limited to, conference halls, classrooms, lecture halls, theatre, Student Union spaces, common areas, gymnasiums, cafeterias, parking lots, boardrooms, and fitness facilities.

Yes! Our conference centre and other spaces are fully accessible as per AODA standards. We also have accessible parking spaces in our dedicated Conference Centre parking lot.

Our Conference Centre in Oakville can accommodate up to 300 people. Our hall in Mississauga can accommodate up to 180 people. Classrooms typically hold between 24 to 60 guests, lecture halls between 125 and 170 guests, Student Union spaces up to 336 guests, common areas up to 180 guests, gymnasiums up to 1000 guests, boardrooms up to 24 guests, cafeterias up to 250 guests and parking lots up to 5000 guests.

When you book an event at our Conference Centre we ensure there is a coordinator on site to support you and your event.

While some of our spaces have fixed layouts (ex: lecture halls, some classrooms), many are flexible and can be set up in any number of layouts including: Boardroom style, classroom style, theatre style, and tradeshow style.

Some spaces such as classrooms and lecture halls include audiovisual equipment at no extra cost. When booking a hall at the Conference Centre, items such as microphones, screens, projectors, and televisions cost extra as we need to customize the space to your exact needs.

Yes, we can facilitate hybrid meetings and live streaming, including external presenters.

Yes! We have an in-house caterer who can cover events in all spaces including the Conference Centre and Academic spaces. In addition to the standard menus that our catering team offers we are happy to work with our catering team to create a menu that you will be happy with for any event.

Yes! You are welcome to use an outside caterer for your event at the Conference Centre only. The external caterer would have to provide all equipment and will not have access to an oven onsite. There is an associated fee with this, which our coordinators can give you more information on.

Yes! You are welcome to bring in your own catering at the Conference Centre only. You would be responsible for providing everything necessary for serving your attendees (I.e. plates, cutlery, napkins) and will not have access to kitchen facilities. There is an associated fee with this, which our coordinators can give you more information on.

We do! The entire Conference Centre is made up of 3 Halls, with the first hall (ABC) dividing into 3 smaller spaces that can be used as breakout spaces. The walls between all rooms can be opened and closed with relative ease. If your event is larger and requires more rooms, we also have access to many classrooms located on-campus just across the parking lot.

Depending on weather, our patio is typically open from the end of May until October. The patio must be rented along with at least 1 Hall rental in the Conference Centre, which will also give you peace of mind in having a back-up location in the event of bad weather.

Yes! We provide a 20% discount on the room rental for non-profit organizations with proof of charitable number or non for profit registration number.

Yes! Sheridan Alumni get a 20% off room rate introductory offer for first time rental and 15% off the room rate after that when booking with us.

If you rent a hall at the Conference Centre, there is a gated parking lot reserved for your guests. There are up to 100 spaces which include 10 accessible parking spots. When renting other spaces, you may be required to pay for parking. Weekend rentals benefit from free parking, with exception to the Hazel McCallion campus as the parking lots are managed by the city of Mississauga.

Yes! The Oakville and Brampton campuses have public transit stops on site. In Mississauga, the bus terminal is across the street beside Square One.

Yes! We are happy to host multi day events as well as recurring bookings.

Yes! Typically events can go as late as 11:00 pm. Our spaces are also available to rent on the weekends.

Yes! Both our Oakville and Brampton campuses have lodging to rent from May to August.
